What is the format of the conference?

The speakers at WEMC 2009 will primarily address participants in two contexts: keynote addresses and breakout sessions. While Friday night will act as a time for select speakers to address attendees as a whole in the main auditorium, Saturday will offer opportunities for participants to engage with speakers in a more intimate setting.  Musical interludes, as well as chances for attendees to network and interact with each other, will also be provided - stay tuned for more details.

When will WEMC 2009 take place?

The conference will take place in the evening of Friday, October 23 and all-day on Saturday, October 24.  Please check back for more specific timing details, as the date approaches.

Where will it be held?

WEMC 2009 will be held at The Meeting House in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, the same venue as the 2008 conference.  The Meeting House is readily accessible by Hwy. 403, as well as via the Mississauga and Oakville transit systems.  For those of you flying in for the conference, Toronto Pearson International Airport is a mere 25 minute drive away.  If you don’t have access to a car, GO Transit offers regular service between the airport and Mississauga’s main transit terminal; additionally, the airport website details alternative forms of ground transportation.
